New API connections in Chile and Colombia!

The steady growth of the fintech ecosystem in Latin America is a fact. The 2019–2021 period in Chile evidenced a total increase of almost 60% in the number of fintech undertakings, and the growth of financial tech-savvy startups in Colombia for the same period has been around 30%, as explained by the president of Colombia Fintech, Erick Rincón.

At Prometeo we stay attentive to this growth and its needs in the region, so we can identify how our infrastructure can respond and thus support Latin American expansion in the field, hand in hand with Open banking.

Today, we are proud to announce that we have incorporated new connections at Banco Santander, Scotia, BCI and BBVA in these two countries to enable our customers to have access to financial data and make transactions.
